The Institute, right from its inception has been organising painting exhibitions by leading artists to inculcate aesthetic sense in the general public. In 1984 a further step was taken to start an art section to give an impetus to the inherent talent of children and adult alike.Led by Sri Sunkad who was our art teacher for over 25 years, the institute became a place to enjoy for all budding artists.

Every year, to coincide with Children’s Day an art competition followed by a three day painting exhibition is being held for few decades now.
