A quiet corner of the city
Established in 1945, the IIWC library is one of Bangalore’s most distinctive reading spaces — home to over 1,00,000 books, spanning philosophy, literature, world culture, children’s fiction, self help and rare out-of-print titles that you will find nowhere else. For eight decades IIWC Library has been a quiet corner of the city where scholars, students, and curious minds find what they did not know they were looking for. Our open stacks, quiet reading room and knowledgeable staff make it a space for unhurried discovery.
Going to the library is a rewarding pastime that many of us already enjoy. So rather than twiddle your thumbs and wonder what you’re going to do on your day off, you should head over to IIWC library. Come on in, stay a while.
